WATER SHORTAGE EVENT

January 26 until January 29, 2010 - A problem at the water treatment facilites resulted in an emergency plan being put into place to cover structure fires in the event that one occured. The fire chiefs and other representatives of the fire service met to develop the plan. A Tanker Task Force was put into place to insure the safety and protection of property in the event of a structure fire. Drafting sites were identified all over the county so tankers could be refilled if needed. Also bottled water was brought to Dublin Fire Department and Pulaski Fire Department to be distributed to citizens who were without water. (See pictures below from Dublin Fire Department)The problem was resolved and water was restored to normal and the Tanker Task Force was discontinued on January 29.
