STRUCTURE FIRE

JUNE 9, 2010 - 01:59 Dublin Fire units were dispatched to a structure fire at 141 West Ave. Chief 2 arrived on scene at 02:05 and established command. Tanker 2 arrived at 02:08 and was assigned the task of fire extinguishment. Ladder 2 arrived at 02:12 and was assigned to assist Tanker 2 firefighters. Engine 2 arrived at 02:18 and was assigned to establish water supply from hydrant to Tanker 2. Rescue 2 and Support 2 were also on scene. The fire completly consumed the interior of first floor with water damage to  the basement. The fire was determined to have started from a faulty outlet in one of the bedrooms The bed was pushed up against it which ignited bed cloths. Medic 10, Dublin PD, and a deputy sheriff were also on scene assisting. All fire units returned to service at 04:41.
